You're All Heart

That twinge in your chest that pain in your arm...is it just a muscle pull,or it is something more serious, such a heart problem? If it is your heart, what caused the problem, and what can you do to fix it?
When you consult your doctor, one of the first things he or she might ask is what of stress you are experiencing in your life. Most of us would answer, "Too much of the wrong kind." After all, it's not easy to cope with each day's major and minor irritations, people who annoy us, and events beyond our control.
In our world, stress is here to stay, and many of us have heart problems, or we have loved ones who do, so how can we help ourselves?
Surgery and medication aren't always the answer. And believe it or not, diet and exercise aren't necessarily the most important factors in restoring your heat's health. Studies have shown that having a spouse or other loved one to talk to and rely on, avoiding the traps of depression and anxiety, and having a sense that you can make a positive change in your condition can overcome the effects of even the most seriously blocked arteries.
How often do we worry about the things we can't do anything about? Do not worry about tomorrow," Jesus said, " for tomorrow will worry about itself" ( Matt:6:34)
How often do we see ourselves as powerless? Remember what the Lord told Paul: " My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Cor 12:9nkjv).
How often have we succumb to depression and avoided contact with our spouse or a friend? Pail told the early church,"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up"(1Thes5:11)
We each have a part to play in our own physical and spiritual restoration and in the restoration of others. With God's help and the support of our brothers and sisters in the Lord, we can have healthy hearts.

" COME TO ME ,ALL YOU THAT ARE WEARY AND ARE CARRYING HEAVY BURDENS, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST"

"WHATEVER GOD CALLS US TO DO, HE ALSO MAKES POSSIBLE FOR US TO ACCOMPLISH"
